Why Buy a Double Running Buggy?

Traditional strollers are ideal for daily use, but if you would like to run with your kids, then you'll need a double running buggy. They are specifically designed for jogging and have large wheels, air-filled tyres, and typically a front wheel that locks for additional suspension.

For occasional jogging models such as the Mountain Buggy Duet or Out'n'About Nipper Sport Double V4 will work. Hard-core runners may prefer the double pushchairs for running, like the Thule Cheetah 2.

Safety

Double running buggys are equipped with three or four wheels, similar to a pram. However they tend to be larger and the front wheel is locked to provide additional control and suspension. The handlebar will usually have a brake (similar as bikes) to stop your buggy swiftly and have a wrist strap to ensure safety. You'll also find some have a slightly reclined seating to provide extra comfort when your little ones are having a nap or eating. Be  double to single buggy  that babies must be at least nine months old before jogging with them in a buggy, and only if they're able to sit comfortably in it for extended durations of time.
